Global warming boost to glaciers

Effects contrary to popular opinion.

Glacier size is driven more by precipitation levels than by temperature. But the Al Gore's of the world drag glacial melting into the global warming debate because it gives an easy and simple example. Ice melts on a hot day, glaciers are ice, therefore if glaciers are melting if must be because of hot days. The reality is not that simple.
